Westminster Bridge from the River, Looking South. Oil on canvas. Westminster Bridge showing stone alcoves, each with lamps on top, in which pedestrians could shelter in showery weather. Beyond bridge, are the barge houses of Archbishop of Canterbury, Lambeth Palace, a number of houses on Millbank, the church of St. John's Smith Sq., St. Stephen's Chapel, Westminster Hall and Westminster Abbey.
